Every year, Supply Chain Canada hosts an annual case competition. This year Conestoga College, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Supply Chain Canada invites students to compete at the 2020 Canadian Supply Chain Case Competition that will be held on March 14th, 2020! This is the perfect opportunity for students to gain further experience and showcase their talents to the supply chain industry’s top firms and represent the University of Manitoba to other colleges and universities across Canada.

During the competition, teams will analyze business case and present their solution to a panel of judges, following a format similar to UMSCO’s Annual Case Competition. Solving the case will require students to focus on resolving real-world challenges through examination of topics such as logistics, network design, procurement, relationship management, and sustainability. Winning teams are eligible for prizes!

Who Can Attend?

Supply Chain Canada welcomes full-time students from colleges and universities across Canada who are currently enrolled in any business/supply chain program. Participants may have started, but cannot have completed a Master’s degree in a related field.

Due to the popularity of the annual event, UMSCO will only be selecting one team of four students to participate in the competition.

Note that interested participants may be eligible for sponsorship funding from UMSCO and the Supply Chain Department for the event. Please email us at if you would like to find out more and are interested in registering a team.
